After laying off 70 employees in the front office back in May, including members of the broadcasting team and production office, several more members of the broadcasting team have been let go.

Trail Blazers TV Analyst and Former Blazer Michael Holton was let go after 19 seasons working for the team. Holton often worked beside team commentator Brooke Olzendam, who remains with the team a of this writing.

Statistician Tom Haberstroh and Road Analyst/Commentators Neil Everett and Jamie Hudson have also been let go or otherwise have not been retained.

TV Play-By-Play commentator Kevin Calabro decided to move on after receiving a low ball offer from the Blazers new management.

Blazers Radio Voice Travis Demers has yet to have his contract renewed with the Blazers. He could be moved to TV, in place of the leaving Calabro, and next to color commentator and analyst Lamar Hurd.

The exodus of Portland Trail Blazers staff continues as a justification for new owner Tom Dundon’s desire to trim costs and create a more streamlined business outlook for the franchise. Other members of the broadcast department remain at risk for losing their jobs. Who else will go? The coming months will tell. As it is, the TV, Radio, and in studio Analysts/commentators will look different next season.
