The Portland Trail Blazers signed guard James Bouknight to an exhibition 10 contract on Tuesday.
Bouknight was drafted by the Hornets in the 2021 draft with the 11th pick. He played for the last three seasons in Charlotte.
He averaged just 5 points, 2 rebounds and an assist a game during that span. He recorded a career high 24 points and 6 rebounds during his first season.
The Blazers now have 20 players on their roster. They must cut two before the start of the regular season to get down to 15 guaranteed spots and 3 two way contracts.
Guard Delano Banton is partially guaranteed and guard Devonte’ Graham is under a non guaranteed contract.
