The Trail Blazers road woes continued as they fell to 0-3 away from the Moda Center on the season. Their latest loss came at the hands of the 76ers, who outpaced the Blazers, winning 113 – 103 in Philadelphia.

The 76ers were without starting center Joel Embiid Who was out for rest. They were also still missing Ben Simmons who has yet to make his season debut after a deluge of off-season drama. Tobias Harris missed the game due to health and safety protocols and Danny Green left the game late due to a hamstring Injury.

The Blazers and 76ers were tied 86 all early in the fourth but the 76ers went on a 14-4 run. The Blazers made a run though getting back within 3, 104 – 101 with just over four minutes remaining. The 76ers went on a 7-0 run and put the game away.

Lillard who played well late was welcomed by fans at the Wells Fargo Center, and cheered on throughout the game, with the crowd chanting, “we want Lillard.” Damian Lillard was rumored to be headed to Philadelphia in the off-season and 76ers fans made it clear they want him. He finished with 20 points, 10 assists, and 7 rebounds.

The Blazers were led by Norman Powell with 22 pts. CJ McCollum added 20 points of his own. But, the 76ers were safe in the hands of the lesser Curry, as Seth went off for 23 points to lead Philadelphia. Georges Niang added 21 and Andre Drummond recorded 14 pts, 15 rebounds, and 7 assists in Embiid’s place.

The Blazers will have a chance to get their first road win Wednesday against the Cavaliers.
