Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic who has been out since January 14th with a fractured left wrist fracture will return to Portland’s lineup Friday against the Orlando Magic.
Nurkic played 12 games for Portland before his injury, averaging 9.8 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game. His numbers were down from the previous year after he suffered the loss of his grandmother in the bubble and due to the disadvantage of a shortened offseason.
He has been working out hard to get himself into shape and has been practicing his shooting, inuding improving his three pointer as he has mended. Don’t be fooled by those Nurkoise outfits! Expect his stats to rise because the Bosnian Beast is back!
