Former NBA player and Purdue star Caleb Swanigan has died at 25. He died Monday, of natural causes at a Fort Wayne Hospital in Indiana.

Swanigan was named player of the year in the Big Ten Conference in 2017 where he averaged 18.5 points a game. He was also selected to the AP All Big Ten team.

He was drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers with the 26th pick in the 2017 NBA draft. He played for two seasons with Portland and one with the Sacramento Kings.
