The Portland Trail Blazers have traded forward Derrick Jones Jr, a future 1st round pick, and a 2023 2nd round pick via Denver to the Chicago Bulls in a three team deal that send Larry Nance Jr to Portland.
The Bulls send Lauri Markkanen to the Cavs as part of the deal in a sign and trade. Markkanen will get 4 years, $67 million from the Cavaliers.
Nance Jr is an athletic big man who has spent the last 4 seasons with the Cavaliers averaging 9.5 points and 7.5 rebounds. He will be very beneficial in Portlands attempt to improve defensively.
