Blazers Sign Ben McLemore

Blazersland.com Editor-in-chief, Chris Craig, was born in Texas but has been a Blazer fan since he can remember. He grew up in Portland, playing street ball on the local court. He has played and coached at the high school level. He received a bachelor’s in English from Portland State University.

The Portland Trail Blazers have sign guard Ben McLemore to a 1 year minimum deal. McLemore is a 9 year veteran in the league. He was drafted by the Sacramento Kings with the 7th pick in the 2013 NBA Draft. He also played for the Houston Rockets, Memphis Grizzlies, and most recently the Los Angeles Lakers. McLemore has averaged 8.9 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1 assist a game on 36% shooting from three. He shot 65% from three for the rockets two seasons ago.
