Blazers Rumored To Be Interested In Acquiring Matisse Thybulle

Blazersland.com Editor-in-chief, Chris Craig, was born in Texas but has been a Blazer fan since he can remember. He grew up in Portland, playing street ball on the local court. He has played and coached at the high school level. He received a bachelor’s in English from Portland State University.

The Portland Trail Blazers are rumored to be interested in trading for Philadelphia 76ers small forward Matisse Thybulle. According to 76ers reporters, the Blazers are willing trade for Thybulle straight up to take him off GM Daryl Morey’s hands.

Morey is trying to move Thybulle to create space to make room for Rockets guard Eric Gordon and perhaps make room for free agent PJ Tucker.

The Sixers and Rockets need a third team to make the deal work. The Blazers are interested in the All defensive second team player, who would fit right in with what coach Chauncey Billups is doing and provide another veteran next to Lillard.

The Blazers could send out the non guaranteed contract of Eric Bledsoe in the deal.
