No Lillard. No Problem. The Blazers without their star guard had an easy night against the flailing Rockets, winning 125-111. They improve to 5-1 on the season.
Anfernee Simons took over where Lillard left off, recording a game leading 30 points. Jusuf Nurkic had an efficient 27 points and 15 rebounds.
The Blazers continued their turnover woes, racking up 15 with their fast and loose play. The Blazers however played in harmony, using the power of the pass to get ro open teammates. They recorded a season high 30 assists.
Blazers rookie Shaedon Sharpe got his first start. He added 14 points, including some incredible highlight level high flying, violent dunks. The best of them, a one handed superman dunk off a pass from Jerami Grant.
Eric Gordon led the Rockets with 18 points. Michael Porter Jr added 16.
The Blazers will play the Grizzlies next Wesnesday, November 2nd, at 7:00 pm on ESPN and Root.
