The Chicago Bulls drafted Coby White as their Point Guard of the future, and signed Thaddeus Young to replace the outgoing Robin Lopez. Thomas Sataronsky should also fit in well with Chicago’s core of Zach LaVine, Otto Porter, Lauri Markannen, Kris Dunn, Wendell Carter, and Denzel Valentine. The Bulls roster is a little better than last season, though not good enough to push through the eastern conference postseason ceiling. They are on the right path, and would still likely be 12th in the east if it weren’t for the injuries to John Wall, as the Wizards with Wall would still be enough to overtake them.

Chicago will hover around 30 wins for the season. The might trade Otto Porter around the deadline, as he will be a hot commodity, and the Bulls who will be more than a few arm stretches from the playoffs, will want to cash in for draft picks and a player or two. Portland would be a good landing spot for Porter Jr and could offer Whiteside or Bazemore, a pick, and fill in. The Bulls could battle with the Knicks for the 11th seed. We shall see.
