Terry Stotts - Portland Trail Blazers Head Coach 2016-17

The Portland Trail Blazers have updated their personnel for the upcoming season. After interviewing with various teams around the league, assistant coaches Nate Tibbetts and David Vanterpool will be back on the sidelines along with Jim Moran. Jay Triano, who joined Earl Watson’s staff in Phoenix, will be replaced by Dale Osbourne. Fourth year, advanced team scout John McCullough will also join the coaches as an assistant.

PORTLAND, Ore. (June 1, 2016) – The Portland Trail Blazers have finalized their coaching staff for the 2016-17 season, it was announced today by president of basketball operations Neil Olshey. Assistant coach Dale Osbourne has been promoted to the front of the bench, and John McCullough has joined the coaching staff after spending the previous four seasons as the team’s advance scout. Osbourne, entering his fifth year as an assistant, returns to head coach Terry Stotts’ staff along with David Vanterpool (fifth season), Nate Tibbetts (fourth season) and Jim Moran (second season).
