Blazers Guarantee Carmelo Anthony

Blazersland.com Editor-in-chief, Chris Craig, was born in Texas but has been a Blazer fan since he can remember. He grew up in Portland, playing street ball on the local court. He has played and coached at the high school level. He received a bachelor’s in English from Portland State University.

The Portland Trail Blazers have officialy fully guaranteed the contract of foward Carmelo Anthony for the remainder of the season.

Anthony 35, signed with Portland on November 19th, on an unguaranteed contract. In 10 games with the team he has averaged 15.9 points, and 5.8 reboubds per game. He gas started all 10 games for Portland.

He was named western conference player of the week last monday after a 3-0 span with the Blazers, averaging 22.3 points and 7.4 rebounds.
